The Moon has brought everyone out tonight. She’s found a comfortable spot by the water. The wolves have a few things they’d like to say.
There’s something familiar about her sitting there with her arms resting on her knees, happy to stay a while. No grand revelation, just the woods after dark and a little time to enjoy them. The sort of evening when a conversation wanders, someone notices how bright the moon is, and nobody feels much like going inside.
In tarot, The Moon is connected with intuition, dreams, and the uncertainty of seeing things only partly. A familiar path can look different after dark. It’s an invitation to pay attention to what you feel, while leaving room for what you don’t yet know. You don’t have to solve everything tonight. The wolves certainly haven’t, and they seem quite comfortable expressing themselves.
Red crackle glaze wraps around the body and neck, with dark lines gathering into fine patterns and opening into larger shapes. Glossy black at the mouth, shoulder and base frames the red, giving the whole piece a rich, striking finish. There’s as much to enjoy when you turn it around as there is in the artwork.
