Apparently, being a Cat on Earth wasn’t enough.
Space Kitty looks like a cat who got handed a spacesuit, told to go save the galaxy, and immediately wanted to know when dinner was. Orange space gear, a backpack full of questionable equipment, and the expression of a cat who has never once been impressed by anything.
As the artwork puts it:
“THIS ALLEY CAT DOESN’T GIVE A SHIT!”
That pretty much sums things up.
The art has a worn, old-school sci-fi comic feel, with faded blue-green, cream and olive colors behind that big orange SPACE KITTY title. Little announcements scattered around the artwork promise intergalactic misadventures, cosmic chaos and, naturally, Planet Catnip.
(Personally, I suspect Planet Catnip is the only reason Space Kitty agreed to go)
Out there “traveling the galaxy, kicking ass and taking names,” which sounds ambitious for somebody who probably sleeps sixteen hours a day. Still, I wouldn’t bet against this cat.
