There are stretches of river in the Berkshires where you can still spend an afternoon without hearing much besides the water. You find a spot along the bank, watch the current for a while, and stop checking the time. This rainbow trout bong is a little piece of that afternoon to bring home.
The blue glaze flows around the body and up the neck, with colors that glow as they catch the light. Bright turquoise gives way to softer blue, dark branching patterns and pale olive touches, like looking through moving water at the stones below. Metallic copper bands around the mouth, shoulder and base of this water pipe bring warmth to the finish. The whole piece has that watery feel, from the trout artwork to the way the glaze flows.
A one of a kind handmade ceramic rainbow trout bong, made right here in the Berkshire Hills by The Berkshire Bong Company. A small tribute to a good place to disappear for an afternoon.
The inside is finished with a black, food safe ceramic glaze to make it completely watertight.
The bong pictured is the exact piece you will receive.
Every one of our stoneware ceramic bongs is fitted with a heavy duty glass down stem and heavy glass slide bowl. The downstem will fit any standard 14mm bowl, so if you have a favorite, just swap it out!
