My version of the Queen of Hearts, except this Queen has traded her throne for an old motorcycle and looks a whole lot happier because of it. Free spirit, open mind....
She’s sitting out on some back road with her pack, boots, and beat up bike, looking like there’s nowhere she particularly has to be.
The playing card details in the corners keep her unmistakably the Queen of Hearts, while the faded turquoise, orange, cream and black give the artwork the feel of an old adventure comic. “Thrilling! Exciting! Forbidden!” runs beneath the title. She seems more interested in where the road goes.
Across the bottom is “Handmade with Love in the Berkshire Hills.” That one seemed appropriate.
The glaze is a beautiful mix of soft blues, turquoise and antique copper. The blue flows from lighter, cloudy areas into deeper shades, with long pale trails down the body. Around the rim, shoulder and base, the antique copper has that aged metal look I love, with dark, rusty edges where the glazes meet. The worn artwork and metallic finish make the whole piece feel like it might already have been on a few adventures.
A one of a kind handmade ceramic motorcycle bong, made right here in the Berkshire Hills by The Berkshire Bong Company. Add the Queen of Hearts to your collection today. A little freedom for the shelf, and a piece you’ll enjoy reaching for when the day is finally yours.
The inside is finished with a black, food safe ceramic glaze to make it completely watertight.
The bong pictured is the exact piece you will receive.
Every one of our stoneware ceramic bongs is fitted with a heavy duty glass downstem and heavy glass slide bowl. The downstem will fit any standard 14mm bowl, so if you have a favorite, just swap it out!
