One of my favorites from this latest batch of bongs, MONSTER RIPS!
A blue green, dinosaur like monster fills the card, with a heavy brow, an amber eye and a row of teeth that almost passes for a grin. Moss gathers around his shoulders, and shelves of ceramic pots sit just behind him. The worn border, numbered card and little workshop details give this handmade ceramic monster bong the feel of something found in an old collection. His expression is what gets me, though. He looks like he knows something and isn’t especially inclined to explain.

The faded blue green creature against the orange, black and cream background looks especially good next to the deep red crackle glaze. The red breaks into intricate black lines across the body and neck, while glossy black around the rim, shoulder and base gives the whole thing a solid, finished look. It has that old lacquered, almost reptile skin feel that fits the artwork perfectly.

The inside is finished with a black, food safe ceramic glaze to make it completely watertight.
