This guy has some serious personality.
Front and center is the Berkshire Bong Ape, looking like some mountain-dwelling hippie who has been wandering around the hills for the last forty years and knows every swimming hole, back road and secret fishing spot! Just vibin' in the hills...
He’s wearing the Berkshire Bong Company colors, smoking away and looking completely unbothered by whatever the rest of the world is doing.
The artwork has an old comic-book/collectible-card feel, so naturally he gets a few official credentials:
TYPE — HIGHLANDER
SPECIAL MOVE — COUCH LOCK
SKILL — BLAZE & HIKE
WEAKNESS — LATE NIGHT PIZZA
Personally, I’m not convinced late-night pizza should count as a weakness!
The glaze is a really nice mix of smoky sage green, charcoal black, rust and antique copper, with lots of speckles and natural variation running through it. The darker bands around the top and shoulder break into those rusty copper tones, while the green-grey glaze underneath has an old stone look that fits the artwork perfectly.
The faded greens, blues, cream and orange in the artwork work really well against the earthy ceramic glazes, and there are little details tucked all around the piece, including:
MADE IN THE BERKSHIRES BY HIPPIES WHO GIVE A SHIT!
Hard to argue with that.
A very cool one-of-a-kind ceramic bong, handmade right here in the Berkshire Hills by The Berkshire Bong Company.
The inside is finished with a black, food-safe ceramic glaze to make it completely watertight.
The bong pictured is the exact piece you will receive.
Every one of our stoneware ceramic bongs is fitted with a heavy-duty glass downstem and heavy glass slide bowl. The downstem will fit any standard 14mm bowl, so if you have a favorite, just swap it out!
